This page lists every cookie and browser storage item Dekhekini uses, why we use it and how long it lasts. We keep the list short: only what the shop needs to work, plus aggregate visit statistics.

1. What cookies and browser storage are

Cookies are small text files a website saves in your browser. Browser storage (local and session storage) works the same way but never leaves your device unless the site reads it. Dekhekini uses both to keep you signed in, keep your cart and remember your choices.

2. Cookies we set

ecore_customer_sessionEssential. Keeps you signed in when you did not tick “Remember me”. Deleted when you close the browser.
_ga, _ga_*Analytics. Google Analytics counts visits and pages viewed, in aggregate. Lasts up to 2 years.
_fbp, _fbcAdvertising. Meta Pixel measures visits from and the results of our Facebook and Instagram ads. Lasts up to 90 days.

3. Browser storage we use

ecore.storefront.customer-tokenEssential. Keeps you signed in with “Remember me” (up to 30 days).
ecore.storefront.guest-tokenEssential. Links your cart and guest orders to this browser.
ecore.storefront.last-orderEssential. Shows your order confirmation after checkout.
ecore.social.stateEssential. Protects Google, Facebook or LinkedIn sign-in; cleared right after.
ecore.promo.couponPreference. Applies the promo code from an offer you clicked.
ecore.storefront.wishlistPreference. Your wishlist on this device.
ecore.storefront.comparePreference. Products you are comparing.
ecore.storefront.recently-viewedPreference. Products you looked at recently.

4. Third-party services

Google Analytics sets its own cookies to measure traffic. Meta Pixel (by Meta Platforms) sets cookies and sends the pages you visit to Meta so we can measure and improve our Facebook and Instagram ads; Meta's privacy policy applies to that data. Payment gateways (such as SSLCommerz and bKash) and social sign-in providers may set cookies on their own pages when you visit them; their policies apply there.

5. Your choices

You can block or delete cookies and site data in your browser settings at any time. Blocking essential items stops sign-in, the cart and checkout from working; blocking analytics has no effect on shopping.
